Services

Individuals

Offering individualized care to adults ages 18 and up. I work with you in your healing journey by creating individualized, nonjudgemental experiences to meet you where you are.

Couples

Working with couples and relationships of all kinds to support you in building healthy relationship patterns, improve communication, and deepen your connection.

Groups

Group counseling is a great way to grow your support system in a space where you have shared experiences. It is also an affordable counseling option.

Chronic Pain and Illness

Living with chronic pain and illness can be a major life transition. It can come with feelings of isolation, grief, anxiety, and depression. Managing your pain and illness can be overwhelming and exhausting. In therapy we explore the emotional aspects and working on developing coping skills that can also potentially reduce some of the experiences of pain.

Trauma

“Being traumatized means continuing to organize your life as if the trauma were still going on ⎼ unchanged and immutable ⎼ as if every new encounter or event is contaminated by the past.”

In trauma-informed therapy we consider how trauma has impacted your well-being and how it continues to show up in your life. Together we process through past events that are hijacking your good moments.

ADHD

Feelings of depression and anxiety are common in individuals with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Therapy for ADHD focuses on healing and understanding the emotional aspects of having ADHD. I also work with you on developing resources and skills to help with executive functioning.

Expressive arts

It can feel overwhelming to explore our challenges and life experiences. We aren’t built in with the skills to process and express how we are feeling. Expressive arts therapy using painting, drawing, sand tray, or movement is an alternative form of communication and exploration of feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and experiences.

LGBTQIA+

The LGBTQ+ community commonly seeks therapy for challenges such as identity exploration and acceptance, coming out, depression, anxiety, trauma, and experiences with oppression. As a queer woman therapist I advocate with you and for you as we navigate your concerns. You are seen and deserving of mental healthcare.

EMDR

Eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing is a therapeutic intervention and theory that helps with healing and alleviating symptoms associated with trauma and distressing life events. EMDR involves specific eye movements or body taps to process trauma and activate the healing your mind and body naturally know how to do.
