Hi, I’m Carly

I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, chronic pain, and ADHD. These challenges can leave you feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. But you don’t have to go through it alone. I bring not only my professional expertise but also my own personal experience of healing. I know firsthand how intimidating and overwhelming the journey can be. That’s why I’m committed to walking alongside you as a compassionate guide, offering tools, empathy, and a safe space for you to explore your past, present, and the future you want to create.

If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to support you on this path.

My approach

If you’re reading this, you're already taking an important step toward healing, whether you're starting your journey or continuing one that feels complex and sometimes overwhelming. It can be difficult to navigate the world of therapy—wondering what to expect, how to find someone who truly "gets" you, or if you're making the right choice. I want you to know that in my space, you can come exactly as you are. No pretenses. No expectations. Whether you need to unwind in a cozy chair, kick off your shoes, or snuggle up in a weighted blanket, this is a space designed for your comfort and healing.

My approach to therapy is holistic—mind, body, and spirit. I blend somatic/body-based practices with expressive arts to help you connect with both your inner and outer experiences. Therapy doesn’t always have to look like traditional talk therapy. Sometimes words don’t fully capture what’s going on beneath the surface. That's where creativity and body awareness come in. You don’t need to be an artist to explore expressively—just bring your openness and curiosity. Together, we’ll discover new ways for you to communicate what you may not have the words for yet.

My Background & Training

  • As a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-A), I am currently under the supervision of LPC-S Kimberly Harrington-Delgado.

    National Certified Counselor (NCC)

  • I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University in New Orleans, and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Thomas University in Houston, TX. Throughout my graduate studies, I gained valuable clinical experience through internships at various private practices and clinics, where I worked with individuals, couples, and groups.

  • In addition to my foundational training, I have received exposure to a range of therapeutic approaches, including trauma-informed therapy, couples therapy, expressive arts therapy, attachment-based therapy, and somatic-based interventions like EMDR Therapy. Outside the session

In my free time I like to read, attend concerts and seek out live music, get tattoos, paint, and play with my dog Jolene.

I’m from Louisiana and love to spend weekends looking for good creole and cajun food around HTX to remind me of New Orleans.

Picture I took from my most recent concert, Post Malone.
